I am currently running 256k. When I got it a couple months. I thought I was really something. I joined the forum and told everyone I had 256k. It was then that I figured out I am STILL behind. But basically, what I am asking is what's your connection speed?

I'm not sure what my actual speed is...it varies.  I'm on my college campus's network, so it largely depends on how many people are running illegal torrents and the like.  It is pretty quick though, at DSL speeds or a bit better.  The only downside is that it seems to be temperamental.

I got broadband recently. YEEEEEEEES!!!!!! Oh yeah. Very fast indeed. Don't thank me. I'm only a kid.

I got Roadrunner High Speed. Faster then DSL but blows up if you have too many connections.

broadband rules! Dialup ... <shudder>.. I'm very glad I don't have to deal with dialup anymore!

lol Ben! That is so true. There was, however, a time when those sounds were like music ... that was the ONLY way to get online!

Hmmm... music... how about replacing those annoying sounds with 'The end of the world' music. Otherwise the older people who aren't technology freaks will think that their computer will blow up.
