Mental Posts: 10 GumPoints: 20	I don't really enjoy the layout and the way the forum looks like. I think it needs some modernization. Maybe making it a V-Bulletin board would be great way to do it. Especially if they wish to incorporate the whole Adsense Revenue Sharing thing in.

As far as vBulletin, I think while it offers many nice features, it is incredibly bloated, both backend and frontend code (and theming it would require more work than necessary). Integration would also be a nightmare, with two different databases, separate user tables, and thats not including any of the more advanced stuff. This forum is entirely custom, and therefore easily modified and controlled. Its fast, and serves all the basic functions of a forum. If you have any specific features in mind please do tell me and if they seem to be truly helpful, we will implement them.

proph3t Posts: 234 GumPoints: 1,845	In Opera, FCKEditor does not show up, so there is no button for smilies unfortunately. I've been spending the last few days researching alternatives, and I think we will be switching to markdown exclusively with the forums and comments. For smilies, I will probably create something that will substitute :-) and others for the icons.
