Work has officially begun on the API we first began discussing some months back. By this weekend we are expecting to have a rough draft completed and we will begin testing the more advanced features from there. Our ETA on the release is within the next month, so be prepared to hear more about it in this thread as things progress. |

Yes, the layout change was pushed to the site today but will be updated further in the next couple days along with some new features. |

Is this API for... Flash Game creators to interface with the GameGum backend? To post high scores or something, update players etc... |

Yes, its actually undergoing testing right now and should be released in not a long time, we can't wait. |

If you haven't seen Kongregate's API user-end interface it's very well done. You can have public and "hidden" stats, sort by high/low (i.e. times for racing games would sort low, as lower is better), have different increments (replace as per high/low or an add, such as "total zombies killed" would just keep rising, each post from the game would add the two values together). |
