Post Order | GameGum - Free Flash Games

When the number of posts in a Thread goes over to Page 2, the latest post is on Page two. Most forums have the posts ordered such that when the Thread goes to more than one page the posts are arranged in reverse order so that the latest post is at the top.

I think this would be convenient.

Hmm, well I wouldn't find that really helpful or...detrimental I guess.  I haven't seen a forum that uses it though.

oh! That's strange cos most forums I have seen are set up like that. Anyway haven't you guys noticed it here? When I enter a thread I automatically go to the first page of the thread. So suppose a thread had say 5 pages, I'd have to manually go to page 5 to see the latest posts.

Anyway it does seem like a unanimous agreement that it's not a good idea :)

I think it's too late now, as said above, don't want to confuse people, and now you have people used to this layout :)
