I just tried to play another game and it was totally unplayable unless you use the Popup feature. Ok, this is becoming a huge problem with the games. I love this site, but we need to make sure the games fit where ever they are allow to be displayed. If the game is to big width and height wise, then the game should only be able to come up in a Pop up, or maybe the ads show up as Pop ups,. Anyway, this really needs to be fixed and soon, I think. Am I alone on this topic?

Thanks,

Hey Steve, for the most part it seems the resizing works on the majority of games. Of course, a few do get messed up. For the redesign we have made the site wider, and allow games to expand much more. We are even thinking of doing something pretty cool where the actual game area is allowed to expand past the edge of the page, or slide out past the edge of the page with a button. Finally, we could work on some sort of dynamic ad placement based on if a game is wide or tall.

Another option would be to allow developers to set an option per-game to allow the popup or not. Would you like this?

Hi proph3t,
Thanks for getting back to me on this! I love the idea of allowing the developer to set an option, per-game to allow the game to show up as a pop up. I guess what we need here is a feature for the developer to state weather the game should only be in a pop up or embedded in the page or both (I'm thinking radial buttons etc.). I also really like your other ideas for making the site wider and taller (if the game needs it). We should also have a way of pre-staging the game on the web page to see if we like the way it looks before before letting it go live. I believe Kongregate does this.
Keep up the great work! Oh, whens the new redesign going to be done? :)

Check this site out. I really like the way the games can be displayed. For example, check out DunkIt on the "Newest games" section in the upper right hand side of the page. When you get to the DunkIt page, you see a few different ways to display the game.
