Yep. Flash will quickly overtake Java in internet game creation. It kind of already has. But then there is Runescape. :-P

Sorry to say, but Java doesn't even compete. Java is a great language, but 99% of all the games on the Internet are either Flash or Shockwave, with the vast majority being Flash. Honestly, nothing really competes with Flash at the moment: it's easy to use, it has a fully-fledged OOP programming language (ActionScript), and pretty much everybody out there has the Flash player installed in their browser.

Im pretty good at flash, good enough to actually make thigns look decent.Im not a graphic designer or anything like that but for the most part, I can do the simple things.

Well, to me it is good as long as it is decent. I hate those stupid pointless games that come up everywhere that make the creators think they are awesome.
