Hey everyone I've got a really annoying bug in a new production by me! When you click on a button that simply goes and plays another frame, it goes to it, but freezes! I tried putting in actions muanually to help but that didn't work! I also found out that flash thinks it is playing BUT IT BLOOMIN' ISN'T!!!! Is this because of the size of it all? Is it because there's too many frames??? I don't know, and I REALLY REALLY need help!!!!!

Well, what code did you use. If you did "gotoAndStop(frame);" then it is going to stop there, if you did gotoAndPlay, it should go and play, is it a problem with a MC in the frame? Coding in the frame? Could you be more specific and use sentences and grammer?

nope it's definately gotoandplay and the frame it goes too isn't complex.

But is the thing you want to play in that frame an MC or an animation in the main timeline?

Ah yes I did put some into movie clip but the stuff dat isn't just FREEZES!!!!!! Iwudafhfuh. I'm annoyed with flash.

OK, this isn't making much sense to me. Could you upload the .fla onto putfile or something so I can download it and work out the problem for you?

I don't think you want to see his .fla file. It's a mess.

Yeah Tom's right. The symbols are called corrupted names such as gjgaejkl. BUT it's good anyway.

Not to worry AP! The game was actually Ninbendo Flash Explosion DX which is up now and NO BUGS 'COS I EM CLEVER! End of thread.
