The key assignment and graphics quality can be changed in the options menu. A short help will also be displayed at the beginning of a match if you don't press any key.

In tournament mode, you have to defeat all other characters, while in single player mode you just fight one match against the computer. "Versus mode" starts a two-player match, in this case you'll have to share your keyboard.
