Refresh and Bugfix Release

We've pushed live a design refresh and huge bugfix release as promised today. Look out for a few really cool new things such as the information box on the home page, the new homepage design, the new game page design, and more.
We've added functionality to see who you've referred, but unfortunately this will only be working from now on, so any referrals you already got will not show up here (but you will still have the GumPoints from referring them). Oh, and Posts are once more worth GumPoints (hooray!).
Design Changes
Visually, we've brought a new look to the homepage and the "game" or "toon" page when viewing an individual game or toon. On the home page the major focus was pulling the new design from our previous redesign into a nice grid. With that we had to shift a few things around, but it turned out nicely. Theres a new information box separating the main content that helps explain the many features of the Gum sites, with versions for logged in and not logged in users. The game/toon pages now more prominently show the games and toons, and organize the content below them into a new grid as well. We also added a new "Favorite Of" box in the middle that shows 8 highest ranked users who added the game/toon as a favorite. Comments have been flipped so the newest show first, and so you may add your comment right from the top for ease of use.
Our design refresh fixes many many bugs in Internet Explorer 6 and brings it up to date with the rendering (almost) on all other modern browsers so everything is as usable as in IE7, Firefox, Opera, Safari and the like. We also fixed a few design bugs in Opera and IE7 as well.
Bugfixes
Reporting errors bug has been fixed. Category selection bug for certain categories on ToonGum has been fixed. Searching is now working again and better than ever before with a slightly updated look and improved functionality. Two bugs dealing with .pngs and avatars/icons have been fixed. Across the site we worked on improved speed as well, and most especially with the home page and game/toon pages. There are many other smaller bugs and improvements that are too trivial to list here as well, but were nonetheless important in making this a solid release.
So, I appreciate everyone's patience with any bugs they reported, and we hope you all enjoy the new changes.
