Fully Featured

By proph3t Aug 11, 2007 · 4 Comments

I'd like to welcome some new updates to the site today:  the new homepage, new games page, new featured page, and an updated users page.  Not to mention, the refreshed design sitewide.  Whats changed?  Lets take a look.

Homepage

We welcome the "full" featured position at the very top.  This gives the latest featured game a nice big space with extra stats and a longer view of the screenshot.  We also added a link to a new page that displays all "Previously Featured" games in a nice list.

Games Page

All new games page displays a variety of different views of our content in an easy manner along with links to the categories right from the sidebar.  We hope this serves as a better snapshot of the recent activity along with links to the all-time greats.  The "old" games page is still there, now under "Browse Games".

Users Page

Now only displays users that have GumPoints.  80-some pages of users was a bit much, wasn't it?

Pulse

Our sitewide pulse will now show ratings that users have given recently.  If you have the privacy settings correct.

New Look

Welcoming the Georgia font along with some redone font settings on many pages.  A newer, glossier header is now in place, and many other minor visual tweaks accompany the site.

Easier Control Panel

No more mucking around for those hidden preferences.  Check out the "Common Actions" on the right as well as some easy links to "My Content".

In the games portal, the stars are wrapping onto a second row.

I'm in Opera now and have only noticed the text on Search, what else would you be referring to?

    Edit: fixed the search issue.
