New Tagline, You Control It.

You may have noticed anytime within the past week that the GameGum header and page titles have been using our new tagline: You Control It. This came after the short-lived Not another Arcade Site and that came after the straightforward and simple Flash Gaming Community.
While no one really wants to read about such mundane details usually, I actually want to use the new tagline to further explain the focus behind GameGum. See, every tagline we've used stems out of our main focus with GameGum: Letting users run the site. By that, we mean that the users have direct control over not only what content is on the site but on where it will be displayed and how it will be received.
Following along with the user's first mantra, we felt that the current tagline helps us separate further from just being another flash games site. Yes, there are tons of them and yes, they all have the same games. While we do host many games that are widely available we are proud of the fact that many of ours are not as well. We hope this trend continues towards unique and fun games in the future as we attract more individual game developers. By the way, to those who still don\'t know and are reading this, yes, anyone can submit a game easily and automatically just by registering.
So, what does this all mean? Basically, we are working to make GameGum the best place for people who enjoy playing and creating flash games. The future will bring many surprises we are planning, including some well integrated user forums and GameGum sponsored games. Don\'t get your hopes too high to see either of those within the next few days, but we have those and many other new additions on our to-do list and all of them are undergoing at least a certain level of development each passing week.
Despite the lack of brevity with this post I hope it has been an informative one. The message should be clear by now: we care about users. Now, get back to playing some games.
