Status of ToonGum

Some users may have noticed that ToonGum was taken down yesterday. Fortunately, it was for a good reason. As we had decided and posted a while back, ToonGum was long overdue for an update to bring it up to par with GameGum. We took it down a bit early due to some spamming and a general lack of polish that we felt was doing more harm than good for the site, and now are preparing a new launch for the site.
This relaunch will mark a new strategy with the dual sites. ToonGum and GameGum will, from the launch and forward, use the same codebase and will be updated simultaneously with each other. They will also share a similar design, with a few minor styling differences to help visually differentiate them. At any time it will be easy for a user to click over from either domain and enjoy sites that function exactly the same but serve their differing intended purposes: games and toons.
Look out for this release in the coming week, which will come at the same time as the second half of GameGum's refresh.
